About Us

We're the Hurst family living in Kinshasa

We are Assemblies of God missionaries who have served in French speaking Africa since 1992. Pat works in Bible school ministry, pastor and leadership training, and church development. He is also the area director for the Assemblies of God, USA, in Central Africa. We base out of Kinshasa, DR Congo.

Suzanne is a registered nurse and works with local churches on HIV/AIDS ministry and healthcare/development issues such as malaria and nutrition.

We have three wonderful kids - Ben is studying biology at Evangel University, Abigail is a freshman at Evangel University, studying nursing, and Emily who is a junior in high school.
